Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dpkg

While upgrading from 10.4 to 10.10 beta, an error appeared saying it failed to
update a libphonon configuration file because it didn't exist. Close to the end
another error appeared saying liphonon couldn't be installed because it was
already installed.
In the end the upgrade process said it would revert, but it didn't.
