Just skimmed through the ChangeLog of gnome-power-manager on CVS: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/gnome-power- manager/ChangeLog?rev=1.743view=markup Probably this commit fixes that? Not sure whether this is going into 2.16.x or in 2.18?
