Binary package hint: login

I just installed a fresh Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server and su segfaults if the
first character typed at the 'Password:' prompt is Ctrl-D.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ su
Password: 
Segmentation fault
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ 

(obviously I typed a Ctrl-D there to make it crash :-))

I'm unsure if this is really a security issue, but as the 'su' binary is
setuid root, it could potentially be a problem and have marked it as
such.
