I was reviewing my reported bugs and I realized that this old one still has not been fixed. Taking the chance to update my initial report: launchpad has an obvious report a bug link, which can be used to report such bugs. I was unable to understand that 'ubuntu-bug' was a mixture of command line and GUI application.
