[Bug 666921] Re: (Kubuntu) GTK app freeze when some GUI feature is used
Am getting something similar to this but don't known where to start debugging it. Removing libcanberra-gtk-module doesn't fix the problem. Doing a $ lsof | grep libcanberra gets me a bunche of matches on files from libcanberra0. Trying to remove that offers to install a bunch of new packages, but removes a number of other things I use. Ok, i find here http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=11847 how to disable event sounds .. appending these two lines to ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde4: gtk-enable-event-sounds = 0 gtk-enable-input-feedback-sounds = 0 It helped me - enough for me - but can I help you with something? -- (Kubuntu) GTK app freeze when some GUI feature is used https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666921 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yey, of course. Here it is. Sorry for slowly response. It looks like a click on some feature does mean play some sound? Is there some quick operative solution for this bug? ** Attachment added: "Backrace from Pidgin / Wireshark / Gimp" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/666921/+attachment/1712926/+files/backtrace -- (Kubuntu) GTK app freeze when some GUI feature is used https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666921 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
