Still happening with 3.4.4-0ubuntu2. I can reproduce the issue systematically with the konversation launcher. Before the crash (directly after pinning), the launcher starts /usr/share/applications/foo.desktop. After the crash (or a Compiz restart) the launcher starts ~/.local/share/applications/foo.desktop instead (even though the favorites just show 'foo.desktop'). If that's the case I can unpin the launcher without a crash.
