[Bug 700900] Re: Some applications crash system monitor

2012-04-16 Thread David Pérez
I don't understand why it doesn't crash in another PC, that has
installed the same version of Ubuntu, with nearly the same apps
installed.

In my case, it crashes even when Thunderbird isn't running.

[Bug 700900] Re: Some applications crash system monitor

2012-04-15 Thread David Pérez
I have this output:

$ gnome-system-monitor
**
ERROR:proctable.cpp:134:void proctable_set_columns_order(GtkTreeView*,
GSList*): assertion failed: (id >= 0 && id < NUM_COLUMNS)

When issuing sudo gnome-system-monitor, it works ok.

[Bug 700900] Re: Some applications crash system monitor

2012-01-24 Thread Iain Lane
Thanks, but unfortunately backports isn't really the path for bug fixes.
This issue should be fixed in 11.10 by way of a Stable Release Update
(SRU) instead.

[Bug 700900] Re: Some applications crash system monitor

2012-01-24 Thread dino99
Gnome-system-monitor fails to open by clicking on its icon on taskbar.

Oneiric i386 output:

oem@dub:~$ gnome-system-monitor
**
ERROR:proctable.cpp:134:void proctable_set_columns_order(GtkTreeView*,
GSList*): assertion failed: (id >= 0 && id < NUM_COLUMNS)
Abandon
oem@dub:~$ sudo gnome-system-monitor
[sudo] password for oem:

** (gnome-system-monitor:3761): WARNING **: SELinux was found but is not
enabled.

So would like this fix backported to Oneiric too.

** Also affects: oneiric-backports
   Importance: Undecided
   Status: New
