Oliver, Bug #840571 reports about the 1px issue regarding the first value. Workaround here is to drag top edge of window in order to decrease the size and display the value, but then the whole window expands over two workspace on a small screen. I've made some videos in my dupe 812485 about it's miserable usability (no progress compared to gconf-editor). Yeah, same in dconf-tools 0.7.5-1; the window expands itself when browsing to a key with a long default value, like /desktop/unity/launcher/favorites.
