I said about off-mode.

Maybe it's due to the dual-screen mode. When I want re-login after the
off-mode, on one screen i have the login windows where I tape my
password, and on the 2nd screen, I can see launcher+panel but wallpaper
is blank (or Black).

I'm not sure I understand. When you say sleep do you mean suspend, the
very low power almost-off mode, or the blank screen mode when you're
computer has been inactive for a period of time.

which version of Unity are you using? also please run apport-collect
734831 in a terminal so that this bug report have a little information
