Thank you for your bug. What version of libgnomevfs2-0 do you use? That might be the same problem than bug #54684 ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium Assignee: (unassigned) = Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Confirmed = Needs Info -- nautilus using 100% cpu if I close a window too fast https://launchpad.net/bugs/73660 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Could you try with 2.16.1-0ubuntu3 from edgy-proposed or 2.16.1-0ubuntu4 when it'll have been accepted to edgy-updates and built? They have a fix for a monitoring loop -- nautilus using 100% cpu if I close a window too fast https://launchpad.net/bugs/73660 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 73660] Re: nautilus using 100% cpu if I close a window too fast
I have found myself in a similar boat, I don't know if I caused it the same way, but I have seen nautilus suddenly spike to 100% cpu and hold until restarted, I'm trying to see if its a thumbnailing issue (there used to be a big one with .gif files) or what, but it happens. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed = Confirmed -- nautilus using 100% cpu if I close a window too fast https://launchpad.net/bugs/73660 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
