Public bug reported: Ubuntu 10.04.2 (Lucid), with latest updates, still uses Nautilus 2.30.1 ..
If attempt to copy files using Nautilus, to another host, the date/time of files are NOT preserved. This occurred when attempting transferring of user files to a NEW PC (with fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10, w/ Nautilus 2.23.0). Workaround: Use new PC (with Ubuntu 10.10 & Nautilus 2.32.0) instead, which DOES preserve date/times. NOTE: This should be fixed for currently supported LTS release (10.04). ** Affects: glib2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/738462 Title: Nautilus not preserving timestamps (Lucid) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
