the stacktrace seems to indicate it's running fine, you get nothing

but when I realize that some words were translated in Spanish I tried again 
with LANG=C gdb indicator-datetime-preferences and works fine again. after that 
I am able to work without problems.. weird.

run gdb indicator-datetime-preferences, then type "run" and enter, then
ctrl-C and "backtrace"

Karl, it doesn't crash so I haven't a strack trace or backtrace, however
I tried to run in gdb but I get same message... it looks like similar
when you get a "timeout" while is starting, maybe is trying to connect
to a external services before start.

PS: I am using Unity with 3D Support (ATI)

Do you have a stack trace, or any more output from the command line?

Does it simply lock and not present a window?

Which version of unity are you running 2d/3d?
