psi, you're right, it should be fixed for 6.06 too. But I noticed you were using 9.0.21.78.2ubuntu1~dapper1 which no longer is the newest version for 6.06. 6.06.1 and 7.04 has the same problem now. checksum doesn't match. Thanks, I'll close this bug then, since the original Perl (and X error) problem has been fixed.
