Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
Clicking the Ubuntu logo in the top-left corner of the screen opens a blank dash (with just a simple text field and an empty area). Typing something into the text field makes the typed characters appear, but has no other effect. Pressing escape prints an unrecognizable character (seen in screenshot), and pressing Enter simply appends a space. Pressing Alt-F2 has no effect. The only way I could launch anything not in the Launcher was to open /usr/bin in Nautilus. I'm running Natty Beta1 from a USB stick.
