Same thing happens to me. I'm using the bluetooth USB adapter coming with my mx 5500 revolution. New info. Strangely, I can get to work internal bluetooth after laptop wake up by inserting external dongle. MSI Xslim x340, Ubuntu 11.04. Almost the same. When I try to switch on off and on bluetooth from applet, it tryes to on but hungs . Menu is active, and I can switch off again but when I'm pressing switch on button, button becames grey and nothing happened after.
