For me, it was sometimes random, but it always occurred when I loaded up Calibre and tried to click on an ebook. Taking nsanz.cl's advice, I disabled some effects. I turned off the same effects than #5 but it still kept crashing. Crashes for me too, on both my Sony Vaio laptop (with an ATI card) and ad my home computer (with nvidia card).
