Wops, sorry, yeah that was the bug I was referring to. The problem is even with all those logs I can't see where the issue is, I can see the drive is recognised, but I can't see where it fails. It seems that you are right. I've found a similar issue from 10.04 times... http://cmc.site11.com/?p=641 together with a workaround, which is to degrade udisks... Would be great to have it fixed.
