[Bug 786743] Re: Lack of support for Multiple receivers

2016-11-16 Thread Mario Limonciello
This would have belonged to mythbuntu-lirc-generator, but Mythbuntu is no
longer going to be supported. So this won't be fixed.
See:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mythbuntu-common/+bug/1639445

** Changed in: mythbuntu-common (Ubuntu)
   Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix

[Bug 786743] Re: Lack of support for Multiple receivers

2016-11-03 Thread Alec Leamas
This do belong to mythbuntu since it's about the automatic generation
of config files. Still unsure which of the mythbuntu packages, sorry.

** Package changed: lirc (Ubuntu) => mythbuntu-common (Ubuntu)

[Bug 786743] Re: Lack of support for Multiple receivers

2016-11-03 Thread Alec Leamas
At second thogt this is a mythbuntu issue, re-assigning.

Please note that that from 0.9.4 lirc no longer supports hardware.conf.
In short, each lircd instance is configured as a systemd service. There
is also a ren lirc_options.conf file which defines default values for
command line options. See upstream documentation at http://lirc.org.

[Bug 786743] Re: Lack of support for Multiple receivers

2016-10-23 Thread Alec Leamas
This is fixed in the new 0.9.4b update (zesty - experimental). This is a
major update which supports a /etc/lircd.conf.d/ directory. As shipped,
all files in this directory will be used.
