Public bug reported:

When you use a individual partition for /home the system may to give you a new 
option for recovery your system.

I mean, that, when you reinstall again your Ubuntu all the configuration
now is recovery because the /home partition is not deleted. But the
program may to be installed again one by one.

One new interesting option may to create a option for recovery all your
programs, something like a simple text file in your home partition that
the ubuntu installer could read and know what programs may to be
installed.

With this method, reinstall the system and upgrade it, will be really
easier.
