I'm running Unity on a multi-monitor laptop. I'm seeing the same thing as the rest of y'all. My packages are the lastest ones I could pull with apt-get dist-upgrade as of about 5 minutes. Hey, because the retracer was down we weren't able to get a good retrace. Unfortunately that makes this hard to tackle. I'm going to mark the bug invalid, but please submit a backtrace if it happens again so that we can get a better handle on what is happening. [Bug 824441] Re: gtk-logout-helper crashed with signal 5 in __libc_start_main()
I got this when I did an update and rebooted earlier today. I boot into unity2d, so it seems unrelated to Gnome Classic. [Bug 824441] Re: gtk-logout-helper crashed with signal 5 in __libc_start_main()
Same as Dino (#3 above): Never had this problem, before I logged into Gnome Classic. However, ever since I logged into Gnome Classic (I only did it once), I get this crash on every subsequent boot of Ubuntu. indicator-session is like a pitbull with a bone. It won't let go of Gnome Classic, no matter what session I boot into - Unity 2D - Unity 3D - et cetera. indicator-session thinks I'm running Gnome Classic, and fails. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/824441 Title: gtk-logout-helper crashed with signal 5 in __libc_start_main() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-session/+bug/824441/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
