[Bug 836325] Re: Clickable areas of previously active window remains on 'Show Desktop'

2011-10-16 Thread Rohit Saraf
Yes. This is affecting me since the very beginning and irritates me
often.

Also, when you minimize the last window, it takes a lot of time to
minimize and the launcher still behaves as if that window has the focus.

[Bug 836325] Re: Clickable areas of previously active window remains on 'Show Desktop'

2011-10-15 Thread KP Stolk
I have unity 4.22.0 and I have still this problem. Alt + Tab and then
'show desktop' does get focus on the desktop but does not hide the
windows.

Also, Ctrl + Alt + d does not work.

Very annoying!

[Bug 836325] Re: Clickable areas of previously active window remains on 'Show Desktop'

2011-10-04 Thread zarquon42
Today I noticed that sometimes after unhiding the desktop (ctrl-alt-d),
the click on the window in front resulted in the reaction of a minimized
window.: clicking on firefox opened my thunderbird address-book.

[Bug 836325] Re: Clickable areas of previously active window remains on 'Show Desktop'

2011-10-01 Thread zarquon42
I'm not sure if my bug is a manifestation of this one:
using Alt+Tab or Strg+Alt+Tab do hide and unhide my open windows works, but
after beeing unhidden, the windows decoration (the black bar on top) - and only
the decorations - remain unclickable - e.g. like in the video above posted by
omer at 0:22. If an application is at the location behind the window’s
decoration that one is reacting on this click - which can be annoying. To move
a window, I first have to click into the body and then it is responding as
usual.

I have unity-4.20.0-0ubuntu2 installed.

[Bug 836325] Re: Clickable areas of previously active window remains on 'Show Desktop'

2011-09-25 Thread Anders Feder
** Description changed:

- Note: This is an extension of bug #836315.
-
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open a window with clickable areas (e.g. a browser showing links).
  2. Alt+Tab to 'Show Desktop'.
- 3. Click on the desktop to give it focus.
- 4. Click in an area corresponding to one of the clickable areas of the now
hidden window.
+ 3. Click in an area corresponding to one of the clickable areas of the now
hidden window.

  What happens:
The hidden window registers the click as if it was addressed to its clickable
area. (Imagine a situation where the user unknowingly clicks a hidden button
labelled Format harddrive.)

  What should happen:
The desktop should receive the click, not the hidden window.
