Also have this issue. Without fix, libreoffice is quite unusable in kubuntu 10.10 ! Also, I can't seem to set this, but I think the bug should be on the libreoffice-kde package, not libreoffice itself. I've added OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome into /usr/bin/libreoffice , it work for me but I loose kde look'n'feel...
