[Bug 85820] Re: Resolution of the screen changes when use Totem player

2011-05-06 Thread Guy Taylor
Has this bug been reintroduced?
Similar description happens on natty. The desktop runs as 1280x768 but on full
screening totem it jumps to 1024x768.

2.17.92-0ubuntu3 didn't fix it.

[Bug 85820] Re: Resolution of the screen changes when use Totem player

2007-03-06 Thread Geert Jan Alsem
I can confirm this bug. I have a 1280x1024 LCD monitor, but I set
everything to 1024x768 when using my TV-out. Then when I switch Totem to
full screen the resolution is changed back to 1280x1024, resulting in
not having full screen video on my TV.

Using up to date Feisty Herd 5.

Thank you for your bug. Could you try if that change makes it work
correctly?

[Bug 85820] Re: Resolution of the screen changes when use Totem player

2007-03-03 Thread Ricardo Pontes
I have the same issue here. it overrides my resolution (1280x1024) and uses
the highest available to X (1920x1440). Leaving fullscreen doesn't revert it
back to my original setting. I am using:
Totem Movie Player 2.17.92 Movie Player using GStreamer 0.10.11 (CVS) and
GNOME. It looks like this is in Herd 5 also.
Samsung SyncMaster 957MB

2007-03-01 Thread johanjpk
I have something similar, I use twinscreen at work, at home just my laptop. I
use a script to set the single monitor that does:
xrandrmode=1
dac=off
when I'm at home I watch things with totem. My screen settings jump to dual
monitor and the aspect ratio is changed to extremly wide screen.
I use totem-xine

[Bug 85820] Re: Resolution of the screen changes when use Totem player

2007-02-17 Thread Miguel Diago
I can also confirm this bug in Herd 4.

My screen is usually at 1024*768 at 85 Hz, but when I switch to
fullscreen in Totem, my screen resizes to 1280*1024 at 60 Hz.

My monitor is a Philips 107 E5 and my video card is Nvidia GeForce4 MX
440 AGP 8x 64 MB.
