I'm using Natty Narwhal and it looks like only randomly I receive the safe to remove notification. People coming from Windows are used to receiving this information every time they ask for a USB drive to be removed. Lots of people are often puzzled after I remove their flash drives from my computer and the notification doesn't show up, and most of them think I took it out without safely removing it. Is there any config we can do to always display the notification? It only displays the Don't remove yet/Now safe to remove notification pair if there is a significant amount of data to be written back. If not, then the first notification would go very fast and thus would be confusing. I think the current behaviour is fine, but I set this to needinfo to wait for your comment.
