Something new. Nautilus is permanently crashed. @Dave and others being still affected by this in Oneiric (with updates installed): you are likely experiencing a different crash, so please report it as a new bug. The best way would be to enable apport (via editing /etc/default/apport, then sudo restart apport) and reproduce the crash. This is not fixed on my machine. Nautilus crashes every time I open a folder placed on my desktop nautilus crashes. I think there Nautilus plugin system fails as well. Uninstalling ubunto one gnome had no effect on my machine. . It still crashes.
