I cannot reproduce this error, it seems to be fixed with new versions of
Unity. Marking this bug as fixed.

I'm running 11.10 with all updates. I've restested this and exact the
situation I mentioned, is occuring. The apps I tried were Chromium,
Terminal and Nautilus.

It has always worked in my case. The last time it didn't work for me,
was in Natty.

Could you give us more information on which window was focused when it
happened, which version of Ubuntu you are using, and whether you're
running Ubuntu with all updates?
