mr2131, package maintainers should be aware of the bug to repack it. I don't know when it happens. Something can be read here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/HowToTriage Don't know if it helps, but it's possible to extract the ffaudio.so library from the old package and copy it to the appropriate directory and then try to play the WMA file again. mr2131, it doesn't make any sense, but seems like being possible. Let's compare the filelists of audacious-plugins packages in natty and oneiric: http://packages.ubuntu.com/natty/i386/audacious-plugins/filelist http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/i386/audacious-plugins/filelist The latter is missing '/usr/lib/audacious/Input/ffaudio.so' library, which seems to be the FFmpeg input audio filter probably used for decoding WMA and other specific formats. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877644 Title: After upgrading to the 11:10 distribution, Audacious will no longer play wma files.
