[Bug 878997] Re: setting nopasswdlogin removes user password
I don't know which package this is, but it's *not* pam. The user is reporting that the password entry is being removed, and this is not something that the pam package does. Reassigning to lightdm, but I don't know where this 'nopasswdlogin' group setup is being done. ** Package changed: pam (Ubuntu) => lightdm (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878997 Title: setting nopasswdlogin removes user password To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/878997/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 878997] Re: setting nopasswdlogin removes user password
** Description changed: When user wants to setup login without password, user adds to nopasswdlogin group (it is fine), but actual password is removed as - well.
