Timothy, I'm a software engineer myself. Can you hint where to start debugging from? I really wanna help. I think judging from the fact that the device is recognized by `lsusb`, I should look into pulseaudio's guts, right? How does the device connect to the system? If it is USB can you please run, in a terminal: lsusb And post the results?
