[Bug 920775] Re: 2 finger scrolling needs to be re-enabled after each boot

2017-10-05 Thread Andreas Moog
This package has been removed from the Ubuntu development release, so I
am closing all remaining open bug reports.

Sorry that we couldn't fix your problem properly, but gpointing-device-
settings is dead upstream, buggy and completely unmaintained.

For more information, see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=870961

Thank you for your understanding and please continue to report any bugs
you may find.

I would really appreciate if there was a way to make the changes
permanent. Running ubuntu 12.04 on Thinkpad X220.

[Bug 920775] Re: 2 finger scrolling needs to be re-enabled after each boot

2012-05-01 Thread Aatish
Here's what worked for me - after installing gpointing-device-settings,
I use the mouse and touchpad settings from the ubuntu system settings
and enabled two finger scrolling from there. These settings seems to
stay after boot.
