Public bug reported:

When I use an attached PPD encoded in JIS83-RKSJ (Shift JIS Japanese;
traditional Japanese PPD encoding), most of applications including CUPS
Web UI, system-config-printer or gtk-print can't display item names. See
attached screenshot of CUPS Web UI and SCP.

This bug is reproduced in Oneiric and Precise both, but I haven't tried
older version or other distros yet.

It seems upstream bug but I can't find STR on CUPS.BUGS.
