[Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?

2012-09-13 Thread Ethan Hogue
Same here on Acer notebook, SynPS/2 Synaptics Touchpad. Two finger
scroll works fine, anything else produces no response, the mouse doesn't
even move, meaning that it's registering multiple touch points and doing
nothing.

[Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?

2012-07-13 Thread zishmusic
I have a MacBook Pro 8.2. Gestures work just fine with the integrated
Touchpad. I have a new Bluetooth-connected Magic TrackPad. Two-finger
scrolling works, but the other multitouch gestures do not.

[Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?

2012-07-13 Thread zishmusic
I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I just discovered that
gestures on my Bluetooth Trackpad work fine if I log out/in. I also
noticed that everything works if the Trackpad is turned on before
LightDM starts up.

[Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?

2012-05-06 Thread Umang Varma
I have the same problem on my Dell Inspiron N5010. Three finger drag (to
move window) and tap (to show resize/move handles) used to work in
11.10, but doesn't in precise. (Both 11.10 and 12.04 were installed as a
clean fresh install)

I can confirm this bug on my Magic Trackpad. Three-finger gestures also
seem to be affected on the touchpad of my laptop.

[Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?

2012-02-13 Thread Bilal Akhtar
I can reproduce this here, on a Synaptics MT touchpad. It supported 3
finger tap to move windows up till now.

One probable reason for the change could be that 3 finger tap will now
be reassigned to open the HUD (already mentioned in design spec)
