[Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?
Same here on Acer notebook, SynPS/2 Synaptics Touchpad. Two finger scroll works fine, anything else produces no response, the mouse doesn't even move, meaning that it's registering multiple touch points and doing nothing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/931171 Title: no multitouch gestures? [Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?
I have a MacBook Pro 8.2. Gestures work just fine with the integrated Touchpad. I have a new Bluetooth-connected Magic TrackPad. Two-finger scrolling works, but the other multitouch gestures do not. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/931171 Title: no multitouch gestures? [Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?
I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I just discovered that gestures on my Bluetooth Trackpad work fine if I log out/in. I also noticed that everything works if the Trackpad is turned on before LightDM starts up. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/931171 Title: no multitouch gestures? I have the same problem on my Dell Inspiron N5010. Three finger drag (to move window) and tap (to show resize/move handles) used to work in 11.10, but doesn't in precise. [Bug 931171] Re: no multitouch gestures?
I can reproduce this here, on a Synaptics MT touchpad. It supported 3 finger tap to move windows up till now. One probable reason for the change could be that 3 finger tap will now be reassigned to open the HUD (already mentioned in design spec) ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low ** Also affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: unity Status: New = Confirmed ** Changed in: unity Importance: Undecided = Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/931171 Title: no multitouch gestures?
