Now that i have everything prepared to backtrace xorg - nothing happens. ;-) The systems seems to be healthy to the core now. For the sake of demonstation. In yesterdays xorg.0.log there are some sections "backtrace" (see attachment). I will behold that. Seems that the problem is gone, but not sure. If not, i'll be back. Have you examined dmesg syslog lspci and Xorg.0.log and Xorg.0.log.old? It was installed from USB with Alternate Image. I don't think the problem is the installation media or -process. Thank you. - Unfortunately, the command results only in "Apport: No further information gathered". Another significant issue: The systemsettings Effects Configuration shows "Xrender" instead of "OpenGL" as always before.
