Hi Brett, I've some experiences with packaging for Debian although I'm not a Debian Developer. So I can't sponsor any uploads from packages you do. But once the package is ready I believe we'll find a sponsor. If you're new to Debian packaging then there's a lot you need to learn. You may want to start reading the Debian New Maintainer Guide[1].
