It seems that the file structure has changed: is line 821 in /usr/guake. I had to change the width option in /usr/lib/guake.py to 96.2 on my 1280x800 screen in order to make the right border appear. (on my 1366x720 screen the value was 96.5). On my 1680x1050 monitor, everything is fine.
