I have tried several combinations, and all are not perfect. It's definitly a problem with the LXPanel. I have tried another theme and it behaves the same since the last update? How should we proceed? should i open a new bug against the lxpanel component? Just a stupid question. Do you have any composite manager working? I mean, is there any shadow under or above the panel? And I must insist, my panel works fine. No, I got the panel aligned on bottom, 24px heigt and 22px icon size (defaults) without compositing enabled. I move the mouse as far as possible to the bottom screen edge and try to click on a window button. That does not work. No, i don't think this is the correct behavior. The panel area below and above window buttons should be clickable, too.
