Does this mean that the bug is gone after updating hardware.conf? ** Changed in: lirc (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/991116 Title: lirc does not work/start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lirc/+bug/991116/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 991116] Re: lirc does not work/start
I just looked at conf file from 12.04 machine and it had REMOTE_MODULES="lirc_dev mceusb" so after changing I was able to restart lirc with out the errors. When I ran irexec the previous error stopped happening. So you might want to try restarting lirc incase any errors come up with this command sudo /etc/init.d/lirc restart -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/991116 Title: lirc does not work/start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lirc/+bug/991116/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
