KeePassX 0.3.1-1 is now available in intrepid (and hardy-backports). Based on the above comments, it looks like this version fixes the issue. There is a much newer version at the KeePassX website: http://www.keepassx.org/downloads Just download and install the newest DEB binary package. This fixes the problem for me on Ubuntu 8.04. I've had this problem for quite awhile. It was true when using 7.10 and is still true using 8.04. It crashes with a segmentation fault. The last line in my /var/log/syslog says May 17 15:30:37 kfrance-home kernel: [27836.505629] keepass[16944]: segfault at 0039 eip 080667ca esp bfd8d7b0 error 4. I'm would think that it something wrong with the file but I can add keys with no problem, it is deleting entries where it crashes.
