Re: [Bug 899217] Re: an advice about changing size of a windows by mouse
Thanks! 2011/12/3 Phil. V 899...@bugs.launchpad.net In 11.10 (11.04 might have it too) a feature called 'overlay scrollbars' was added, making it easier to change the size of windows. When your mouse is in the general vicinity of a window scroll area, a handy slider appears, giving you more surface area to click (or touch, as we're getting ready for the increased prevalence of touch screens). If you would like that functionality please consider upgrading. Since this was fixed in a later version of Ubuntu I'm going to mark this as fix released. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New = Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/899217 Title: an advice about changing size of a windows by mouse Status in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I am not sure if this is a bug, nor if it is acceptable to report it here. [Bug 805613] Re: mutt treats email address as file name when using attachments
The man page for mutt has for the -a option: -a file [...] Attach a file to your message using MIME. When attaching single or multiple files, separating filenames and recipient addresses with -- is mandatory, e.g. mutt -a image.jpg -- addr1 or mutt -a img.jpg *.png -- addr1 addr2. The -a option must be placed at the end of command line options. so it would appear the double dash '--' is mandatory, and is working as designed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/805613 Title: mutt treats email address as file name when using attachments To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutt/+bug/805613/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 898852] Re: Kernel freeze when on battery - Compaq nc6400
I've tested with 3.2.0rc4. It still freezes, but not the same way. It freezes more slowly (reproduced 3 times). At first, I can move the mouse, but the clicks and the keystrokes fail. Some background applications still operate (I could see a blinking cursor on a gnome-terminal), but there is no way to interact with them. However I can switch to the text mode consoles (Alt+Ctrl+F1 or F2...). Sometimes I can type in, but I does not last long (just the time to type my login, no chance to type the password - If I ever get the password prompt). At this point, I could use SysRq. [Bug 899671] [NEW] Aisleriot Freecell does not report the game number
Public bug reported: When starting a new Freecell game, Aisleriot does not show the game number (the seed value from which the card layout was generated.) All other Freecell games on all platforms I've tried do this, so that you can record when you lose a game and retry it later, exchange hard games with your friends and so on. This includes Win32 Freecell, Windows 7 Freecell, the 3rd party Freecell Plus, the Mac OS X Freecell by the late Alisdair McDiarmid of http://randomoracle.org/ and so on. This is not a bug but a feature request, but I can't find any author or any direct contact for the team to report it. This is the only way I know, I'm afraid. [Bug 899669] [NEW] Screen Corruption and crash after Gnome Shell login
Public bug reported: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit into Gnome Shell 2. Observe black flashing squares near Activities button Observed results: I'm on 11.10 Gnome Shell, and about once a day, there's a screen corruption around the Activities button right after boot: a random group of black squares flashing on and off. If I continue working, the corruption will get worse, and the top of the screen fills with garbage spreading from left to right. See attached screenshots. Eventually, Ubuntu crashes to the login screen. Only occurs right after login. If it doesn't happen then, it never happens, so right now, when I see it, I log out and back in and I'm good. Notes: My PC is a desktop. [Bug 899663] Re: Sync mpi4py 1.2.2-3 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Hi Bradley, As per the release schedule here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrecisePangolin/ReleaseSchedule We are far behind the debian import freeze deadline;until which packages from debian will be auto synced in ubuntu provided the current ubuntu package in the repositories is unchanged from debian(which is precisely the scenario here). So I would suggest waiting for a while before going ahead with this request.
