[Bug 1844699] [NEW] The snap plugin is not claiming the desktop id correctly

2019-09-19 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

With a desktop snap application open, you can go to "Show Details" and
it will launch GNOME Software which expects an app id. The desktop id is
being passed to Software and the result is Software displaying "Unable
to find gnome-clocks_gnome-clocks.desktop".

[Bug 1846000] Re: battery level percentage different with and without power connected to laptop

2019-10-01 Thread Heather Ellsworth
After testing this a bit more, I noticed that when plugging in the power
the battery percentage says 100% for *some period of time* before
changing to match the percentage that upower has. The time it takes for
the percentage to go from 100%->true% varies anywhere from a second to
minutes but it does eventually seem to settle back on the upower
reported percentage.

[Bug 1845532] Re: power icon does not indicate charging if booted without power connected

2019-09-26 Thread Heather Ellsworth
I tried this in a 19.04 live boot from a usb stick and the behavior was
correct: if the system was booted without power, the charging symbol was
not there. Then when I connected the power, the charging symbol
appeared.

Also, when booting 19.04 without power connected, there is only the one
dbus-daemon line in journalctl:
Sep 26 18:55:04 ubuntu dbus-daemon[1097]: [system] Activating via systemd:
service name='org.freedesktop.UPower' unit='upower.service' requested by
':1.38' (uid=999 pid=1761 comm="/usr/bin/gnome-shell " label="u
nconfined")

So there is some regression between 19.04 and current 19.10.

19.04 kernel: 5.0.0.-13.14
19.10 kernel: 5.3.0-10.11

[Bug 1845532] Re: power icon does not indicate charging if booted without power connected

2019-09-26 Thread Heather Ellsworth
The only difference in journalctl between when the system boots with
power and without is that when the system boots without power, I see two
journalctl messages:

When the system boots with power, I see only one similar journalctl message:

service name='org.freedesktop.UPower' unit='upower.service' requested by

In 19.10, with the error state, restarting upower fixes the issue. So if
you've booted without power connected, then connect power and don't see
the charging icon, execute `sudo systemctl restart upower` and see the
charging symbol.

I'm seeing this very same issue on a new Lenovo T590 running 19.10 with
linux-firmware 1.182 and linux-image-generic 5.3.0.10.11. See attached
files for more verbose info on the network controller and journalctl

Thanks to the previous comment, I can say that the issue is only seen if
the system connects to a 5GHz network.

[Bug 1846000] [NEW] battery level percentage different with and without power connected to laptop

2019-09-30 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

Hardware: Lenovo T590
OS: 19.10

I have the battery percentage displayed next to the battery icon in the
top bar (Tweaks -> Top Bar -> Battery Percentage). When the power cord
is connected, it says 100%. However, if I unplug the power cord, the
percentage drops down to 94% immediately. Plug in the power cord again,
and it's back to 100%.

If I let the battery discharge a bit so the unplugged state shows 91%,
then plug in the power cable, it says 100% briefly before updating to be
91%. Let it charge for a few minutes so with the power connected it says
92%, then unplug the power and it says 93%.

The percentage displayed when the power is connected vs when the power
is not connected is not consistent with each other like it should be.

Brief video displaying the behavior. You can see when the power is
connected or not because the lightning bolt shows up when the power is
connected.

[Bug 1844776] [NEW] snap run from cli tab completion broken

2019-09-20 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

Tab completion for `snap install` and `snap remove` works just fine but
does not work with `snap run`.

So for example, if you have gnome-clocks installed, `snap run gnome-
clo` should fill out gnome-clocks but it does not.

[Bug 1856251] Re: Going from apps overview screen to fullscreen'd app causes flash

2019-12-13 Thread Heather Ellsworth
On my workstation, this happens with fullscreen'd firefox too. Any
fullscreen'd app. So it's not limited to the terminal application.
However, this does not appear to happen on my thinkpad running 19.10. So
I think you're right, it is likely nvidia-specific.

[Bug 1856251] [NEW] Going from apps overview screen to fullscreen'd app causes flash

2019-12-12 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

I like some things like terminal to be fullscreen (F11). I've noticed
that whenever I look at what apps are running by tapping the Super key
and then go to any app that is in fullscreen mode (by either hit the
Super key again to give focus back to the app OR click the app I'd like
to focus on), there is a flash of the background. This is 100%
reproducible for me.

[Bug 1856731] [NEW] Cannot add a Google accounts with GOA

2019-12-17 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

On a freshly installed 20.04 system, going through the initial setup and
I'm presented with the Online Accounts panel where I selected Google,
entered my email and password. Then Google's 2-factor authentication
kicks in and instructs me to check my phone. I do and approve the
connection, but the online accounts page on the laptop never updates
until it eventually asks if I want the authentication to be resent.

There are two older bugs that looks like this - both are fix committed:
- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-online-accounts/+bug/1175122

Opening a new bug since the issue definitely exists and the other bugs
have been fix committed for years.

[Bug 1848554] [NEW] ubi-partman crashes if install updates unchecked and install third party software checked

2019-10-17 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

The title pretty much sums it up. When installing xubuntu oem, I
unchecked the box "Download updates while installing Xubuntu" and
checked the box "Install third-party software". When I clicked continue,
I get a message saying that ubi-partman crashed (see attached). If it is
not allowed to have this checkbox combination, then there should be an
error saying so.

Furthermore, the ubi-partman crash didn't seem to have any affect on the
install. The install completed fine, even though updates WERE downloaded
an installed (see #1848552).

[Bug 1848542] [NEW] Release Notes on first page of installer takes user to wrong page

2019-10-17 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

When installing xubuntu, we see a "Release Notes" link on the first page
(page with "Try Ubuntu" and "Install Ubuntu"). When that link is
clicked, the user is taken to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/19.10/ReleaseNotes, which redirects you to:

[Bug 1848558] [NEW] (intermittent) need to authenticate 3 times before accepted

2019-10-17 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

When at the terminal, trying to file an issue with ubuntu-bug, I was
prompted for authentication. Only after the third try was the password
accepted.

1. I entered the password correctly and the authentication window closed and
reopened very quickly (no error message that I had entered the password
incorrectly).
2. Then I entered a bogus password and the authentication window closed and
reopened very quickly (this time with the expected “Your authentication attempt
was unsuccessful. Please try again”).
3. Then I entered the correct password again and it was accepted.

This happens more often than not, however sometimes I'm not prompted for
authentication at all with ubuntu-bug. When I am prompted for
authentication, all three tries can be the correct password (no need to
have a bogus password entered as one of the tries) and only the third
one is accepted.

The expected behavior is:
1. Consistency: ubuntu-bug should either always prompt the user for a password
or always not
2. Only one entry needed: If ubuntu-bug is going to prompt the user for a
password using apport, then the first correct entry should be accepted.

[Bug 1853351] [NEW] Object St.Button has already been deallocated

2019-11-20 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

I don't know what causes it but frequently I see my journalctl being
spammed with gnome-shell errors (see attached journalctl snippet). If I
do nothing about it, then within a few hours gnome-shell is slow and may
eventually freeze. So I end up rebooting to reset the system and avoid a
freeze.

I'll keep my eye out for reproducers but in the mean time I wanted to
record this somewhere in case others see it.

This happens every couple of days on both my laptop and workstation and
both systems are running 19.10.

[Bug 1853175] Re: [MIR] libmail-authenticationresults-perl

2019-12-02 Thread Heather Ellsworth
libmail-dkim-perl v0.54-1 is already in main:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libmail-dkim-perl/0.54-1

but the new v0.56-1 has a new dependency on libmail-authenticationresults-perl:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libmail-dkim-perl/0.56-1

libmail-authenticationresults-perl is available in the universe:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libmail-authenticationresults-perl

That is why this is a new MIR, to hopefully get libmail-
authenticationresults-perl into main so that we can upgrade to libmail-
dkim-perl v0.56-1.

My apologies for not having this assigned to the right package - this is
my first MIR so I'll watch out for that mistake in future MIRs :)

[Bug 1797373] Re: 3D slide transitions don't work at all or tear when played + repeat animations don't work

2020-02-10 Thread Heather Ellsworth
I just tested this on 20.04 with the 6.4.0-0ubuntu3 deb as well as the
6.4.0.3 snap.

For each package type, I created one of each of the 8 3D images
available, on 8 different slides. I animated two of the images. In both
the deb and snap, each 3D image looked fine when in slide show mode and
transitioning slides went smoothly.

In the case of the snap, the animations played in normal edit mode (max
loops) and in slide show mode. Transitioning to and from the slide was
smooth.

In the case of the deb, the animations did not play in either normal
edit mode or in slide show mode.

This bug covers two things: the slide transitions + animations. The
slide transitions issues seem to be fixed and here is the relevant
upstream commit: https://salsa.debian.org/libreoffice-
team/libreoffice/libreoffice/commit/f107a8a2aeaa7714a13f80cd807cca0c84519306

However the animations are still broken in the deb.

[Bug 1862855] Re: "file does not exist" for existing files

2020-02-13 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Launchpad is a great place for you to report bugs about the libreoffice snap so
you did it right :)
Since Canonical delivers both a deb and snap of libreoffice, it's handy for me
to know which one you're using.

Since you're using the snap, I recommend putting your libreoffice files
somewhere in your $HOME directory so that your snap can access them.

[Bug 1862855] Re: "file does not exist" for existing files

2020-02-12 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Thanks for the report! First off, what version of libreoffice are you
using? Your system info says "Package: libreoffice (not installed)".
What version is in the libreoffice -> Help -> About libreoffice ?

If you're using the deb that is provided in the 19.10 update archives,
then that should be 6.3.4-0ubuntu0.19.10.1, and running libreoffice
/tmp/testfile.txt should open writer.

If you're using the snap, then that is 6.4.0.3 and the snap does not
have access to /tmp. Because it's an isolated app package, the snap has
access to $HOME and /snap/libreoffice/current.

[Bug 1866094] [NEW] Stray B being printed after switching workspaces with wayland

2020-03-04 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

The problem is that a stray "B" character is being printed to the
terminal screen after switching work spaces with the Ctrl+Alt+{Up/Down
arrows}.

On the first workspace, I have a few applications running (Firefox is focused)
On the second workspace I have gnome terminal 3.35.91 running in full screen
(F11, so no window boarder) running.

I Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow to switch to the first workspace and do some things
in FF and then Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow to switch back to the second
workspace and now see a "B" on the command line.

This happens over and over.. I see the capital B on the commandline when
I switch to this workspace where the terminal is fullscreened.

Some things to note about when this happens:
* This only happens with wayland
* It happens fairly often but not 100% of the time
* The key character created is always a "B"
* I've only seen this key character be created on gnome-terminal
* There are no journalctl logs generated when this occurs
* I have to release the Ctrl+Alt+Up and then do Ctrl+Alt+Down to see the B. (If
I keep Ctrl+Alt pressed and then do Up and Down, the B is not generated)
* It seems more likely to happen if the first workspace is switched to, spend
some time there just clicking things or typing or whatever, and then go back to
the second workspace
* It only happens if gnome-terminal is full screen'd with F11

[Bug 1865166] Re: undefined symbol: gegl_rectangle_subtract

2020-02-28 Thread Heather Ellsworth
A freshly installed focal system doesn't come with gimp and installing
it from apt and runnning it works just fine. On a system that
experiences this undefined symbol, uninstalling gimp (and autoremove)
and reinstalling it fixes the problem. I'm not sure why this fixes the
issue because libgegl is the same versions installed previously.. and
the same gegl packages get installed.

[Bug 1865166] [NEW] undefined symbol: gegl_rectangle_subtract

2020-02-28 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

I'm running focal and have both the snap and the deb of gimp installed.

The snap runs just fine (although there is a GeglBuffer leak:
https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/gimp-geglbuffer-leak/15732).

However, if I run the deb from the command line, it won't start and
fails with:

heather@bmo:~$ gimp
gimp: /usr/local/lib/libbabl-0.1.so.0: no version information available
(required by gimp)
gimp: /usr/local/lib/libbabl-0.1.so.0: no version information available
(required by /lib/libgimpwidgets-2.0.so.0)
gimp: /usr/local/lib/libbabl-0.1.so.0: no version information available
(required by /lib/libgimpcolor-2.0.so.0)
gimp: symbol lookup error: gimp: undefined symbol: gegl_rectangle_subtract

libgegl is installed but maybe there's an additional gimp/gegl package
that provides this symbol and would need to be included in main for the
gimp deb to work:

heather@bmo:~$ dpkg -l | grep gegl
ii gir1.2-gegl-0.4:amd64 0.4.22-1
amd64GObject introspection data for the Generic Graphics Library
ii libgegl-0.4-0:amd640.4.22-1

ii libgegl-common 0.4.22-1
all Generic Graphics Library - common files
ii libgegl-dev:amd64 0.4.22-1

[Bug 1864071] [NEW] [SRU] libreoffice 6.3.5 for eoan

2020-02-20 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

[Impact]

 * LibreOffice 6.3.5 is in its fifth bugfix release of the 6.3 line.
For a list of fixed bugs compared to 6.3.4 see the list of bugs fixed in the
two release candidates:
 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/6.3.5/RC1#List_of_fixed_bugs
 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/6.3.5/RC2#List_of_fixed_bugs
   (that's a total of 84 bugs)

 * Given the nature of the project, the complexity of the codebase and
the high level of quality assurance upstream, it is preferable to SRU a
minor release rather than cherry-pick selected bug fixes.

[Test Case]

 * No specific test case, bugs fixed upstream hopefully come with
unit/regression tests, and the release itself is extensively exercised
upstream (both in an automated manner and manually) by a community of
testers. Each minor release normally goes through two release
candidates.

 * The libreoffice packages include autopkgtests, those should be run
and verified to pass.

 * General smoke testing of all the applications in the office suite
should be carried out.

[Regression Potential]

 * A minor release with a total of 84 bug fixes always carries the
potential for introducing regressions, even though it is a bugfix-only
release, meaning that no new features were added, and no existing
features were removed.

 * A combination of autopkgtests and careful smoke testing as described
above should provide reasonable confidence that no regressions sneaked
in.

[Bug 1862707] Re: LibreOffice Snap (6.4.0.3; 2/10/2020) can't open documents from ".hidden" directories

2020-02-11 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Thanks for reporting your issue with the libreoffice snap.
Unfortunately, snaps are restricted from accessing files in hidden
folders because this is often where other applications keep their
configuration files. If you still need to access these files with
libreoffice, you should use the libreoffice installed from apt, rather
than the snap, as this should work just fine.

[Bug 1863282] Re: libreoffice menu bar disappeared

2020-02-14 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Thanks for the report!

I was able to reproduce the missing menu bar in libreoffice on a kde
neon 5.18.0 system if I installed libreoffice-kde and/or libreoffice-
kde4 (libreoffice-kde depends on libreoffice-kde4). If either/both of
these are installed, then you will not have a menu bar in libreoffice.

My guess is this is because your plasma version is 5 when you're
installing libreoffice-kde4. In 19.10, we provide libreoffice-kde5 and I
bet this would work but I can't test it because if you update your repos
to point to eoan instead of bionic and go to install libreoffice-kde5,
it will remove the neon-desktop. Also, since kde neon is based on Ubuntu
LTS only, there is no 19.10 version to try.

So for now, I recommend installing libreoffice (do not install
libreoffice-kde/libreoffice-kde4):

$ sudo apt install libreoffice

Yes, this does install libreoffice-gnome and libreoffice-gtk3, but that
should not conflict with anything you are doing.

The next Ubuntu LTS is 20.04, due in April, and I would expect this
issue to go away with libreoffice-kde5 in the kde neon image based on
20.04. So I'll leave this bug open until that is confirmed.

[Bug 1863468] Re: Libreoffice Snap is not available in Turkish

2020-02-19 Thread Heather Ellsworth
The snap without Turkish is 407.7 MiB:

Adding Turkish adds 7.7 MiB, for a total of 415.4:

I thinks this added amount is fine so I'm going to add this in the official

No fractional scaling is enabled. I eventually started just not using

the flashing I reported in this issue. So my guess is something was
fixed in focal.

[Bug 1871067] Re: libreoffice doesn't start

2020-04-06 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Ok so sounds like you did a fresh install of 20.04 and then launched
libreoffice (should be installed just fine ith a non-minimal install
like you did). Perhaps something went wrong with your install, but
everything went find for your VM install.

Could you please provide the journalctl output from running the libreoffice
command:
1. (terminal 1) setup file to capture the output: `script -f
journalctl-output.txt`
2. (terminal 1) start watching journalctl: `sudo journalctl -f`
3. (terminal 2) start libreoffice from the cli: `libreoffice`
4. if i understand correctly, no libreoffice appears and the stdout in terminal
2 is empty
5. (terminal 2) kill your libreoffice command with `Ctrl+C` if it seems hung
6. (terminal 1) kill your journalctl tail with `Ctrl+C`
7. (terminal 1) quit capturing the stdout in a file: `exit`

Please provide that journalctl-output.txt file so I might have a look at
the logs.

Also you said that sometimes you get a white square in the center of
your screen when you launch libreoffice.. is this when you launch it
with the command line or with the icon? It would be great to get the
logs from this scenario with the above steps, if possible.

[Bug 1871067] Re: libreoffice doesn't start

2020-04-06 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Well all of the libreoffice apparmor lines for the deb look normal. But
then there are a TON of snap.discord.discord denied apparmor messages, a
couple of them point to libreoffice:

Apr 06 19:08:48 pellenor audit[534568]: AVC apparmor="DENIED"
operation="ptrace" profile="snap.discord.discord" pid=534568 comm="Discord"
requested_mask="read" denied_mask="read" peer="libreoffice-oopslash"
Apr 06 19:08:48 pellenor audit[534568]: AVC apparmor="DENIED"
operation="ptrace" profile="snap.discord.discord" pid=534568 comm="Discord"
requested_mask="read" denied_mask="read" peer="libreoffice-soffice"

My guess is that somehow your discord snap is interfering with
libreoffice displaying. Could you try killing the discord snap and see
if libreoffice displays ok? (make sure the discord snap really isn't
running anymore with ps -ef | grep discord)

So you fixed the discord issue and then were able to launch your

Maybe this is discord getting in the way again?

Try to completely remove libreoffice debs with:
sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove

Use `dpkg -l | grep libreoffice` to make sure no libreoffice packages
are still installed and then `apt install libreoffice`. Assuming the
reinstall goes smoothly, make sure discord isn't running and your
libreoffice should launch. If it still doesn't then please provide the
journalctl-output.txt.

[Bug 1869561] Re: Libreoffice Help does not work

2020-03-30 Thread Heather Ellsworth
The problem appears to be only in 6.4.X deb. Here's what I've tested.

* The 6.4.2 snap works probably because we are including the help directly, so
that help opens the actual help rather than directing the user to the web.
* 6.4.2.2 deb = broken
* 6.4.1-0ubuntu1 deb = broken
* 6.4.0-0ubuntu8 = broken
* 6.3.5-0ubuntu0.19.10.1 = works

2020-04-28 Thread Heather Ellsworth
I was actually unable to reproduce this.. on a fresh 18.04 vm that was
fully updated, I did a release upgrade to focal and saw that
libreoffice-base-core and libreoffice-common were both upgraded to
6.4.2-0ubuntu3 without any issue.

Robert, did you see this failure when you were doing the release upgrade
from bionic to focal? Did you do the release upgrade with `sudo do-
release-upgrade -d` or some other method?

[Bug 1874285] [NEW] [SRU] libreoffice 6.4.3 for focal

2020-04-22 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

[Impact]

 * LibreOffice 6.4.3 is in its third bugfix release of the 6.4 line.
For a list of fixed bugs compared to 6.4.3 see the list of bugs fixed in the
two release candidates:
 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/6.4.3/RC1#List_of_fixed_bugs
 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/6.4.3/RC2#List_of_fixed_bugs
   (that's a total of 58 bugs)

 * A minor release with a total of 58 bug fixes always carries the
potential for introducing regressions, even though it is a bugfix-only
release, meaning that no new features were added, and no existing
features were removed.

 * A combination of autopkgtests and careful smoke testing as described
above should provide reasonable confidence that no regressions sneaked
in.

[Bug 1877970] Re: Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4

2020-05-20 Thread Heather Ellsworth
I've verified that the Alt+X behavior is broken in
6.4.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 that is currently in the focal archive. And since
I was testing 6.4.4~rc2-0ubuntu1~ppa1 to prepare for the 6.4.4 release,
I went ahead and was able to easily check that indeed the Alt-X behavior
works in 6.4.4. So stand by for the 6.4.4 release to get this fix.

[Bug 1865166] Re: undefined symbol: gegl_rectangle_subtract

2020-05-20 Thread Heather Ellsworth
In case anyone else hits this, perhaps this will help...

Another user ran into this very issue on a Debian system but removing
gimp and reinstalling didn't fix the issue.

In order to find the conflicting library, the user removed gimp and it's
dependencies then searched for any remaining libraries to manually
remove:

$ sudo apt-get remove --purge gimp
$ sudo find / -iname "*babl*"
$ sudo find / -iname "*gegl*"
$ sudo find / -iname "*gimp*"

Remove any lingering libraries before re-installing gimp.

[Bug 1900445] Re: LibreOffice 7 Writer and Calc crash when creating new or opening documents

2020-10-19 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Hmm it sounds like something went wrong with the update. Could you
please just try to uninstall all libreoffice packages and then install
LO7 from the ppa?

1. Remove the current libreoffice install
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*

2. Add the ppa and make sure that the libreoffice 7.0 is what is going to be
installed (whatever is to be installed will be the top entry of apt policy)
$ apt policy libreoffice

3. Install libreoffice and try to run it.

[Bug 1900454] Re: Calc doesn't recalculate formulas on cell content changes

2020-10-19 Thread Heather Ellsworth
It seems that this bug was already reported upstream
(https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137248) and has
been reported as fixed with a target for the 7.1.0 release.

We can still leave this bug open though to verify it's fix when 7.1.0 is
released.

Great idea! I'm currently working on releasing the libreoffice 7.0 snap
so I will add Polish support there.

[Bug 1891956] Re: package libreoffice-common 1:6.4.5-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/soffice', which is also in package openoffice-debian-menus 4.0-9702

2020-08-19 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Was this system installed as a 20.04 and then you just did an apt update and
upgrade?
It sounds like your system is in a funky state with these libreoffice packages
so to workaround it, try remove all libreoffice debs and reinstalling them with:

$ sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*
$ sudo apt install libreoffice

Can you tell me more? What model of mouse are you using? So you click
save and while the save dialog is up, these mouse buttons don't do
anything - what do you expect to happen?

[Bug 1892783] [NEW] [SRU] libreoffice 6.4.6 for focal

2020-08-24 Thread Heather Ellsworth
Public bug reported:

[Impact]

 * LibreOffice 6.4.6 is in its sixth bugfix release of the 6.4 line. Version
6.4.5 is currently in focal.
For a list of fixed bugs compared to 6.4.5 see the list of bugs fixed in the
two release candidates:
 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/6.4.5/RC1#List_of_fixed_bugs
 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/6.4.5/RC2#List_of_fixed_bugs
   (that's a total of 106 bugs)

 * A minor release with a total of 106 bug fixes always carries the
potential for introducing regressions, even though it is a bugfix-only
release, meaning that no new features were added, and no existing
features were removed.

 * A combination of autopkgtests and careful smoke testing as described
above should provide reasonable confidence that no regressions sneaked
in.
