Ok I tried to get the backtrace, the first one I got was full of ??? execpt a reference to libesd.so.x. So I installed some additional debug symbols for esd : esound-dbgsym, libesd-alsa0-dbgsym...which installed esound as a dependance. And after that the crash is gone ! So i guess we have a missing lib. Upstream question: Note that the dialog eog and gnumeric use to set up landscape printing. THat is the gtk page setup dialog. Unfortunately gtk forgot to allow for other options to included in that dialog. Eog appears happy since they don't allow you to format the page any further. (Well there are a few items inside the print dialog but they form a last time before printing situation.) Gnumeric requires/offers many more settings. So we could have 2 page setup dialogs but I don't think that is an improvement.
