Any news on this one? I didn't receive any reply on that bug for a long

don't know what to say - it's a plain bug.

Thanks anyway for your interest

It needs tested against a git version of the driver and forwarded
upstream if it still occurs.

Yes of course: the problem in hardy is in some broken choice of
frequencies, vga out it correctly enabled. I am lucky because at office
we have LCD and CRT monitors, and a projector, so I will be able to test
every sort of output.

May I suggest and motivate the following three:

because it will break networking for people who upgrade and, not even

 not without a reason)

because it's a plain shame, and because I was told, before gutsy, that I
started testing too late and so I could not ask to have it fixed for
gutsy, and my heart still bleeds for that comment, and because the most
likely environment to use ubuntu is academia, and in academia you do
print a lot of pdf files. And, also, because my heart still bleeds, so
 please fix my heart.

This bug is already tracked under the ubuntu-8.04 milestone, but it appears
that resolving it is contingent on upstream being able to identify the fix
in time.

Hello Steve,

I think the following bug needs to be considered release-critical:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apturl/+bug/203538

This is about apturl, a really cool feature that was added just one or
two releases ago, does not work at all in firefox 3 in hardy. It would
be a shame to leave a feature that was recently successfully
introduced completely broken. Additionally websites which provide apt:
links would have to tell people to look which version of ubuntu they
are running to see if they are able to use the links. I hope this can
be added to the list.

Cheers,

Wouter

If you have TV card (saa7134), your PC will not boot any longer, as

So I think, this is an important to fix bug.
