gnuradio-companion requires python-gtk2 but it is not depended on

Status in gnuradio package in Ubuntu:
  New
Status in gnuradio package in Debian:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Hello,

On Ubuntu 18.10, python-gtk2 is not installed as a dependency of the
gnuradio package. Consequently, the gnuradio-companion application
  fails to run:

  $ gnuradio-companion
  ImportError

Failed to initialize GTK. If you are running over ssh, did you enable
X forwarding and start ssh with -X?

  (No module named gtk)

Installing python-gtk2 manually fixes the problem.

Bug description:
Currently Qt 4 has been dead upstream and we are starting to have
problems maintaining it, like for example in the OpenSSL 1.1 support
  case.

Following in the footsteps of Debian[1], all packages directly or
indirectly depending on qt4-x11 (like this one) must either get ported
to Qt 5 and uploaded to the development release or get removed (by
means of demotion to -proposed or removal of the package) before the
19.04 release. If it is possible to port your package by the 18.10
  release, please do so.

If you have any questions about porting or this transition, please ask
in #ubuntu-qt (preferred) or directly ping me

  [Impact]

The gnuradio package currently has a build dependency on libqwtplot3d-
qt4-dev (which is not available for armhf). However, the package
doesn't use anything from libqwtplot3d-qt4-dev. Taking that dependency
out at least allows gnuradio to build (and most likely succeed).

  [Test Case]

Attempt to install gnuradio, or anything that depends on a gnuradio
library (such as gqrx-sdr) on an armhf system, and notice it's not
  available.

  [Regression Potential]

In the event that qwtplot3d is indeed indirectly referenced somewhere,
then a feature will be missing. However, running "apt-cache rdepends
libqwtplot3d-qt4-0" yields only five packages (three of which are
directly related with qwtplot3d or qwt3d), none of which are the
  gnuradio libraries.

CW output tone is ringy on some audio devices

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: unixcw

For some audio devices (soundcards) the Morse code 800 Hz output tone
generated by cwlib is ringy (sounds as if it is being modulated by
  another tone).

The 'cwlib' library tries to set the DSP sample rate to 8192 Hz and
the fragment size to 2^7 == 128. On audio devices where a different
fragment size is returned for that rate, the audio output sounds
  ringy:

  TESTCASE:
  $  echo T  |  CWLIB_DEBUG=0x4  cw -w 4  21  |  grep fragment
cw: dsp fragment size not set, 131

(For audio devices which accept that fragment size and rate, the
fragment size not set line will not appear and the tone will sound
  fine).

Open the software-center and search for gpredict.
Click on the 'More Info' button. In the description there are some spelling
and grammar errors in the description.

  * The words ...only limited... should be ...limited only... (my opinion).
  * The word and should be or in the second bullet point list.
  * The word time is missing after the word same in the third bullet point
list.
  * The word either is not needed in the 4th bullet point list (my opinion).
  * The word appriximate should be approximate.
  * There is a missing word (I believe it is open) and period at the end of
the fifth bullet point list sentence.

sox syntax has changed. -w is changed to -2.

This is already fixed for 'multimon', but not for 'gen'.

It's a easy fix, but I've tried to attach a patch.

Aprsd segfaults when connecting with Xastir. It happens during the

Core was generated by `src/aprsd'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

Atleast these will cause trouble on a 64-bit machine
