Re: [Bug 54882] Re: Main menu lockup

2007-03-24 Thread Fraser Burns
I have just retested it and it is no longer occurring.
I don't know at what stage it stopped playing that trick.
Thanks.

[Bug 54882] Main menu lockup

2006-08-01 Thread Fraser Burns
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome
Breezy.
Log into your desktop and do whatever.
Log out.
Immediately log back in as the same user.
The Auto hide action of the menu bar at the top of the screen is now in
permanent hide.
Temp solutions is to create a tty or a terminal if you have a shortcut key, and
use that to implement shutdown.

[Bug 52035] Password change failure

2006-07-05 Thread Fraser Burns
Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu, Breezy, when you use:
System Administration Users Groups
to change your password, everthing works fine except in one circumstance.
Change the password, press OK. Then press OK on the main window and wait for
that window to close.

If you then Logout, the password change is cancelled!!!

If you go to some other application first, then the password change remains
valid.
regards
Fraser
