[ubuntu-in] Problem with Firefox 3.0.1

2008-08-31 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hi
am using Firefox 3.0.1 and seem to be having some problems viewing some
lenovo website pages

i get the error message
We apologize, you must have JavaScript enabled to use this website.
Your browser is currently running with JavaScript disabled.

However, when i checked my settings Edit-Preferences-Content there
both Java and Javascript are enabled.

So any idea why this could be happening.

My Ubuntu is 7.04 with somethings upgraded to 7.10 and Firefox 3.0.1 is
installed from a Tar.gz download. And it is updated to its latest.

thanks
ram

Yup, looks like that Lenovo page's compare portion was meant to be
viewed on the same page/window :-)
