I installed the webapp Webtelegram and while writing with it, did a
call from some other phone to my BQ and the call was announced fine.
At the same time I'm online with my BQ using it as an AP to Internet and
the BQ shows the letter 'H' for its data mobile connection. All fine.

May be that having put the SIM in slide 1 has solved the problem (if
allways is in 3G). I'll say to you and thanks for your interest.

I have not said that you should call *from* some other BQ, but from any
other phone *to* your BQ.

No te dije que llames desde otro BQ, sino desde un teléfono cualquiera a
tu teléfono BQ para verificar lo que otros te digan, mientras estás
navegando con Webtwlegram.

Re: [Ubuntu-phone] Data only in 3G

2017-03-25 Thread Cesar Herrera
The app is Webtwlegram.
I have no other BQ phone.
But someone has said something interesting: See if the leter is E or H to
know if I'm in 2G or 3G. I did not do it. Only if the problem appears with
E it matches with what the company said to me. If so when there is E
instead of H I sould disconect data. Other thing is that the problem
appears not only with Webtelegram. The problem could be only with 2G.
Cheers,
Cesar

Are you talking about the Telegram app or something else, browser based?
What exactly is 'navigating with Telegram'?

Have you done some own tests, i.e.:
- open the Tg app
- write some stuff to someone
- and while writing, do a call from the landline phone on your desk or
from some other mobile to your BQ
Have you test this? What was the result?

Re: [Ubuntu-phone] Data only in 3G

2017-03-25 Thread Cesar Herrera
Supose I'm using data and navigating (specially with Telegram). If someone
tries to call to me he's said that this number is not accessible. I asked
the company (Lowi) and they said that it was posible and that the SIM has
to be located in hole 1. Not in 2G. Only in 3G or 4G. They said I had test
other phone and if it fails they would resolve it. As the setup of our
phone offers 2G/3G in the same place i thought it could be a problem.
Perhaps there is a file in ofono or something else were I could manually
specify only 3G.

I do not understand, what the problem here is, not even what "Lowi" is
at all. I always have enabled "3G/2G" and not "2G" in the mobile
settings and I'm online nearly 7/24 with this, receiving mails via data
and calls and sms

So, what exactly is the problem?

If I'm ussing data I don't know if someone tries to call me. So it may be
impossible for him to make the call. Only when I finish ussing data I'll
receive an SMS saying that someone tried to phone me.

You can do this easily by disabling data when someone calls - pull down
the network drawer from top of device.
