Re: [Ubuntu-phone] UITK Bugs
Thanks Daniel, let's continue this on the bug! I'll make sure design gets attention ASAP! Ahh... my previous mail went out accidentally... So let's start all over :) Hello Daniel, On Sun, Jan 31, 2016 at 7:28 PM, Daniel Woodwrote: > I am experiencing the same problem as described here: > https://plus.google.com/104470462565851394948/posts/58xHJVYUYmj > > The adaptivepagelayout changes the primary column height to match the > child column height. So yes, in order to proceed with this you should file a bug, but not just for the toolkit, you should link the one also for the "Ubuntu UX" project (!! so not package this time, project). Then we can grab designers to deal with the issue and, if decided, we will implement the feature. In the worst case we will have some property somewhere which will allow you to link/unlink a header from having its height adjusted. And just drop an email to us, or ping us on IRC, we will see it and reply at any time of the day :) Cheers, Zsombor -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone Post to : ubuntu-phone@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Ubuntu-phone] UITK Bugs
Hi Zombor, *In the worst case we will have some property somewhere which will allow you to link/unlink a header from having its height adjusted.* This would be perfect!! I understand why design would like to maintain equal header heights for aesthetics but in my case I would like to maintain maximum screen space for the drawing canvas, in some situations it would be preferable to hide the primary column header and have the secondary column header remain visible. I will file a bug today and hopefully we can continue any discussion there. Thanks, Dan On 1 February 2016 at 06:22, Zsombor Egriwrote: > Ahh... my previous mail went out accidentally... Re: [Ubuntu-phone] UITK Bugs
Hi Mike, Thanks for link. I must of done my usual 'man look' when I tried to find the toolkit launchpad page. Cheers for taking the time to reply.
