[Bug 669338] [NEW] ssh autologin fails to work
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ssh I created id_dsa.pub and id_dsa on my client computer (did not use a passphrase), I then added the contents of the .pub file to two other computers, renaming the file authorized_keys on both. However, while one computer does not ask for passwords for ssh login attempts from the client, the other one still does ask for the password everytime. All 3 computers are x64 maverick, and because I followed the same procedure for both ssh servers, one of them has to be a bug. ** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ssh autologin fails to work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/669338 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Noticed by John Morrissey, closes: #584151. * Added the /etc/default/freeradius file as suggested by Rudy Gevaert and Matthew Newton, closes: #564716. * Stop symlinking /dev/urandom into /etc/freeradius/certs/random, it breaks grep -r in /etc. Instead, replace it inside eap.conf, both in the new shipped conffile and in postinst. ** Affects: freeradius (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Please sync freeradius (main) from Debian Unstable (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/669452 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to freeradius in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Instead of QEMU_AUDIO_DRV=alsa /usr/bin/kvm.bin $@ use QEMU_AUDIO_DRV=alsa exec /usr/bin/kvm.bin $@ also in /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf # QEMU implements an extension for providing audio over a VNC connection, # though if your VNC client does not support it, your only chance for getting # sound output is through regular audio backends. Simon Déziel, if you apply this workaroud you can't control your virtual machine throw virtmanager. It's not a good idea, in this case you can simply install and configure VM using console virsh or something like this. For now there is only one ability to use virt manager in a proper way: use virt manager from Maverick, in which you can manually define bridge name for VM to connect to. Regarding the referenced Ubuntu forum thread, it was solved by using a different NIC, details at that thread.
