Try with another server. LIke you can see, the server you did try is not up. I also got this error on 10.10 and, to David's comment, changing the name of the --hostname bypassed the problem as you created a new vm. But using virsh or virt-manager to delete the pre-existing image resolved the problem. However, my question is this. Is the -o option intended to remove any files, including a preexisting image or does it just remove other transient files that may exist but is NOT intended to delete what may be a functioning production VM? For myself, I am totally fine with Lennart's suggestion of an error message if the vm exists already. Note that this seems to also affect a lot of the Banshee addins too. I did a search on the Samba bugzilla (https://bugzilla.samba.org) and wasn't able to find any relevant (open) bug reports. Well, I am considering working around by never using and mono packages in any ARM build of anything. I will collect the packages at least for the dependencies of ubuntu-netbook, and filter out anything that depends on mono. It seems that mono breaks ubuntu on ALL ARM PLATFORMS. Also, this issue will arise on a physical board as well as in a VM. I did an ntpdate with ntp.ubuntu.com and failed, but as I said before, I am behind a firewall and the ntp port 123 is probably closed. I wish I could use port 80 with ntp.
