[Bug 497258] Re: vmbuilder fails when adding package 'ubuntu-desktop'
Apologies - mine seems to be a different problem - I am not using --addpkg ubuntu-desktop but I am getting a similar error message: VMBuilder.exception.VMBuilderException: Process (['umount', '/tmp/tmpTuNycd/dev']) returned 1. stdout: , stderr: umount: /tmp/tmpTuNycd/dev: device is busy. (In some cases useful info about processes that use the device is found by lsof(8) or fuser(1)) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to vm-builder in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/497258 Title: vmbuilder fails when adding package 'ubuntu-desktop' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vm-builder/+bug/497258/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 726790] Re: python-vm-builder-0.12.4+bzr462-0ubuntu1: swap partitions fail to be created properly when lucid is the target
I was having the same problem, and Taco's fix worked for me too. [Bug 919730] [NEW] Access network with windows 7
You have been subscribed to a public bug: To summarise, I am connecting to the network with a windows 7 laptop via a secure wireless WPA-PSK (TKIP) and I am unable to open folders on the ubuntu machine but folders on a Windows XP machine can be opened When I use an unsecure wireless connection to the Win 7 machine via a powerline wireless range extender I get full access. Re: [Bug 919068] Re: bridge_ports all doesn't work at boot time
I did remove completely resolvconf, including the configuration files and the problem persists. The output of sudo ifdown -a sudo ifup -a is: Waiting for br0 to get ready (MAXWAIT is 32 seconds). ssh stop/waiting ssh start/running, process 3014 and the network comes up. One more piece of information, before running this command, I'm able to connect to machines on my LAN (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx) but not outside. Thanks, Daniel On Sat, 2012-01-21 at 01:28 +, Stéphane Graber wrote: Based on your forum post, one problem is your use of resolvconf which is far from good and well working in Ubuntu 11.10, it's been fixed in 12.04. You may want to completely remove resolvconf from your system and see if that helps. If you still don't have network after removing resolvconf and rebooting, I'd be interesting in the output of sudo ifdown -a sudo ifup -a. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to bridge-utils in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/919068 Title: bridge_ports all doesn't work at boot time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bridge-utils/+bug/919068/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
